When a U.S. congressman’s daughter passing through a small town in Mississippi dies in a mysterious triple homicide, a team of F.B.I. agents descends to investigate, the team’s brilliant but jaded lead agent battling demons both past and present, as his beautiful, tough-as-nails partner tries to hold him and the case together. They find a struggling and corrupt sheriff’s department, a shadowy and much-feared figure, who seems to be pulling all of the town’s strings from his mansion on the edge of town and a local victim with a strange connection to a number of the town’s most prominent figures.<\/em><\/p>\n

Producer Lisa Bruce grew up making shorts and some documentaries. While attending graduate school at NYU, she had the opportunity to help a student make a feature film after the student received a large grant.\u00a0 Her passion and determination for making films continued and recently was one of the producers for the Best Motion Picture of the Year nominated, The Theory of Everything.\u00a0 Currently, she\u2019s the Executive Producer along with Historia Films for The Hollow, a southern-noir crime, mystery, drama that\u2019s due out later 2016.<\/p>\n

\"Principal<\/p>\n

THE HOLLOW was written and directed by Miles Doleac (BANSHEE). \u00a0Doleac also plays the role of Ray Everett, the small town sheriff\u2019s deputy.\u00a0 Doleac is most proud of his role saying it was his most layered work to date.\u00a0 Lisa Bruce recently told Pop Culture Daily that she decided to get Doleac involved in the film because Doleac has the skills to handle the technical and logistical challenges of making films, as well as a real capacity to pull the best performances form his actors.\u00a0 http:\/\/popculturedaily.guru\/lisa-bruce\/<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Big<\/p>\n

The notable cast includes Callis (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA), Jeff Fahey (LOST), Christiane Seidel (BOARDWALK EMPIRE), William Forsythe (THE BRONX BULL), Miles Doleac (CONTAINMENT), William Sadler (IRON MAN 3), David Warshofsky (NOW YOU SEE ME), Garrett Hines (DEEPWATER HORIZON), Jim Gleason (THE BEST OF ME) and Kelly Lind (THE BIG SHORT).<\/p>\n
