Filmmaker Lou Simon\u2019s latest horror, thriller, action, and drama film ALL GIRLS WEEKEND will be available on VOD July 12th<\/sup>.\u00a0 The film is an all female cast starring Jamie Bernadette, Katie Carpenter, Gema Calero, Karishma Lakhani, and Sharron Calvin. \u201cIt\u2019s an all-female cast, a homage to one of my favorite horror films \u201cThe Descent,\u201d <\/strong>says Simon.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

ALL GIRLS WEEKEND is much more than a girls\u2019 in the woods horror.\u00a0 There\u2019s no killer or monster lurking in the woods.\u00a0 It\u2019s a survival horror film with a supernatural twist with a powerful message from Mother Nature.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In fact, Mother Nature had an impact on the filming, the ALL GIRLS WEEKEND cast and crew powered through some severe weather conditions.\u00a0 Simon had some difficulty getting a cast that was willing to work in the harsh weather, but the actresses in ALL GIRLS WEEKEND were tough and determined as they braved the conditions during filming as Simon shares, \u201cI let everyone know in advance that we would be filming outdoors, in freezing temperatures; they would need to do some zip lining, and they would need to rough it as we would be in the middle of nowhere.\u00a0\u00a0 I didn\u2019t sugar coat it at all, but the reality was even worse.\u00a0 We got the coldest weather that we had experienced in Atlanta all winter during those weeks of filming, and we had to film through rain, sleet, and snow.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Keep that in mind when you watch the excellent acting performances, camera, cinematography, and directing!<\/p>\n
