Sony blasts ROGUE WARRIOR: ROBOT FIGHTER to theaters this June!<\/p>\n
Sony Distribution will release the highly-anticipated science-fiction actioner Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter, starring Tracey Birdsall and written and directed by Neil Johnson, in theaters June 2.The Blu-ray release of Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter, exclusive to Walmart, is set for June 6.<\/p>\n
Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter, described as a mix of \u201cMad Max\u201d and \u201cStar Wars\u201d, is a science fiction film set in the distant future depicting the overthrow of humanity by artificial intelligence on Earth and other worlds. Birdsall plays Sienna, a resourceful rebel on a quest to take down the evil empire of robots.<\/p>\n
Starring alongside Birdsall are William Kircher (\u2018The Hobbit\u2019\u2019), Daz Crawford (\u2018\u2019Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.\u2019\u2019), Stephen Manley (\u2018\u2019Star Trek III\u2019\u2019), and Marilyn Ghiggliotti (\u2018\u2019Clerks\u2019\u2019).<\/p>\n

Tracey Birdsall and Neil Johnson have worked together on films in the past and teamed up to produce ROGUE WARRIOR.\u00a0 This movie will always have a special place in their heart as they both pushed their mental, physical, and creative limits to make the film.<\/p>\n
“Rogue Warrior was an extreme vision for Director Neil Johnson – one that I was happy to delve into with my heart and soul,<\/em>\u201d tells Birdsall.\u00a0 \u201cWhen a director, such as Neil, trusts you with such a rich and multi-faceted character, you have no choice but to do everything in your power to impress. As an actor, this is the stuff our dreams were made of.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u201cThere is a reason why she is the lead actor of the biggest film of my career,\u201d <\/em>Johnson says about Birdsall as Sienna.\u00a0 \u201cAs a director of over a quarter of a century and having worked with thousands of actors, I have never encountered anyone so facilitating and driven as Tracey.\u00a0 When I pushed, she gave.\u00a0 When I thought she could take no more, she gave more than any normal human being could give.\u00a0 I think I have actually pushed Tracey too far\u2026\u00a0 <\/em>I know that I was heavily traumatized with what I made her do\u2026 <\/em>I can only imagine what she is dealing with.\u00a0 She took it all in her stride, but the acting depths she has gone to has filled me with serious PTSD.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n ROGUE WARRIOR provides stunning scenery and effects, but even better it tells an excellent and structurally sound character driven story.\u00a0 In the opening scene, machines are trying to take over mankind in an intense and exciting battle.\u00a0 After the war and a majority of civilization is wiped out.\u00a0 We then meet Sienna (Tracey Birdsall) and learn that her goal is to destroy the scourge and stop the machines.\u00a0 Throughout the film the audience is highly entertained with Sienna\u2019s combat expertise and she can kick some serious butt.\u00a0 Sienna\u2019s character develops as she learns a lot about herself and some is very difficult for her to grasp which intensifies and boosts the momentum of the story.\u00a0 The more she discovers about herself, the more she needs to know, but she never loses focus of her main goal to save mankind.<\/p>\n Sienna\u2019s story and goal combined with the intense action, spectacular settings, and stunning visuals makes ROGUE WARRIOR one of the best action films of the year.<\/p>\n Mark your calendars for June 2nd<\/sup> and absolutely check out ROGUE WARRIOR!<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/4K-1-7-second-half-corr-1.mov.Still004-785x442.jpg\")
