The former was originally released by Adamson&#8217;s decadent drive-in distribution company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/company\/co0083917\/\">Independent International Pictures<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0006163\/\">William Lava&#8217;s <\/a>bombastic but suitably sinister score for <em>Dracula vs Frankenstein<\/em> includes a remix of the title track by producer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0792581\/\">Sam Sherman<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0038256\/\">Tito Arevalo<\/a>&#8216;s sweaty score for the Filipino frightfest <em>Mad Doctor of Blood Island<\/em>, from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/company\/co0027277\/\">Hemisphere Pictures<\/a>, the centerpiece of Eddie Romero&#8217;s &#8220;Blood Island&#8221; trilogy about horrific experiments on a remote island (the bookends being <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0062758\/\"><em>Brides of Blood<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0065456\/\"><em>Beast of Blood<\/em><\/a>), is likewise deliriously over-dramatic but exotically effective. Both scores are eerily atmospheric and evocative in a lusciously lurid, low-budget vein.
