{"id":5650,"date":"2012-12-17T12:29:55","date_gmt":"2012-12-17T18:29:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/?p=5650"},"modified":"2012-12-17T12:29:55","modified_gmt":"2012-12-17T18:29:55","slug":"no-franco-in-dawn-of-the-planet-of-the-apes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/?p=5650","title":{"rendered":"No Franco In Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Twentieth Century Fox is already working on another installment of \u201cPlanet of the Apes,\u201d but star James Franco spoke with MTV on Monday, Dec. 17 and said he was actually not going to be a part of it as far as he knows.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was going to be in a small part of the next one,\u201d Franco tells MTV. \u201cThere was one scene, between Caesar and my character, maybe even just like on a video that was left behind, but then a lot of things happened. Like, [former Fox co-chairman] Tom Rothman, who was a big part of the first movie, left. Now Rupert\u2019s [former director Rupert Wyatt] not a part of it so I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The studio is going for a May 23, 2014 release for \u201cDawn of the Planet of the Apes,\u201d so they should have contacted Franco by now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy guess is I won\u2019t be in it.
