Well, just when you thought it was safe to go back into the cable waters, here comes the Syfy movie “Ghost Shark.” Premiering at 9 p.m. Thursday, it stars Mackenzie Rosman (“7th Heaven”) and follows a group of friends battling the great and mysterious and elusive title creature. Sounds like another unapologetic B-movie comin’ at ya’? Oh, yeah.Writer-director Griff Furst isn’t promising anything else. The ghost shark is a great white returning from the dead after being tortured and killed by fisherman.<\/p>\n
Rosman plays Ava. When her father is killed, no one believes that the ghost shark got him — no one, that is, except the crazy lighthouse keeper, Finch (Richard Moll of “Night Court” fame). A 7 p.m. repeat of “Sharknado” will set up the movie’s debut on Syfy.
