Much like the run up to its first trailer in December, the upcoming second trailer for Ridley Scott\u2019s Prometheus has its own 20-second teaser. It features a few new blink-and-you\u2019ll-miss-them glimpses of the film, primarily of the vast-foreboding-alien-planet-landscape variety. Everything about the teaser for the new trailer effectively, well, teases me to want to see the full new trailer, but the claim that Prometheus is \u201cthe most anticipated movie of the year\u201d doesn\u2019t quite stand up to scrutiny. I\u2019m fairly certain The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and The Hobbit have all staked claims to that title too, and, besides, if Scott\u2019s quasi-prequel to Alien really is so eagerly awaited, do we really need to hype it so much?<\/p>\n
