Some of the early projects she worked on were <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Walking Tall 2 &amp; 3, Prison Break<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday Night Lights<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u00a0Wanting to excel in the industry and become a successful filmmaker, she knew she had to relocate to Hollywood and she did just that. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25999\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/MG_1525.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2808\" height=\"1872\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/MG_1525.jpg 2808w, https:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/MG_1525-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/MG_1525-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/MG_1525-785x523.jpg 785w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2808px) 100vw, 2808px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On each and every project she was involved in, Ogun used the opportunity to observe and learn. \u00a0Now she&#8217;s writing, directing, and producing her own films. Ogun utilizes the experiences she gained when working on sets of blockbuster movies and hit TV series, including <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Dark Knight Rises, Battleship, Neighbors, Heroes<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">True Detective<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to name a few. \u00a0Her work ethics and professionalism on set have built her up a reliable reputation and a long list of industry contacts<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-25996\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_5374-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_5374-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_5374-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/IMG_5374-785x523.jpg 785w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the years<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Ogun has<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> been selected for the AFI Directing Workshop for Women, Ryan Murphy\u2019s Televasion HALF Mentorship Program and Robert Rodriguez\u2019s \u201cRebel Without A Crew.\u201d \u00a0In addition to films and series, she also produced the Emmy campaign music video for <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crazy Ex-Girlfriend<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and Vanity Fair\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ladyboss<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> video. \u00a0Her filmmaking style and technique combined with her personal life experiences brings a unique quality to her films, \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I think being a tea drinking Nigerian Texan woman is pretty unique point of view to have,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d Bola tells. \u00a0\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Looking at most of the movies I saw growing up, I really loved them but didn\u2019t see the best representation of who I see in my everyday life. I also focused my early career on being a performer which has helped introduce me to so many interesting people.
