A new trailer for crime thriller Hustlers has been released by Lionsgate UK. The film, which debuts as a straight-to-video release in the UK, is out now on DVD and Blu-ray. The film is the latest feature from acclaimed filmmaker Wayne Kramer, director of The Cooler, Running Scared and Crossing Over.

Hustlers, known in the USA as Pawn Shop Chronicles, is one of the last films to star American actor Paul Walker, who died in November last year. The film strings together three short stories into one feature centred around a pawn shop.

The film has attracted mixed reviews from critics. Frank Scheck in the Hollywood Reporter said that the ‘fine cast’ is ‘wasted in this lurid, grindhouse-style effort that strains for both laughs and shocks’. However, Slant Magazine congratulated director Kramer for refusing ‘to cloak his excessiveness in hedge-betting self-consciousness’ and the result ‘is a gratifyingly disreputable B-movie blow out’.
