When Air Force One goes down over the Bermuda Triangle, the Navy sends its best rescue team. But in saving the president, the team awakens a creature that threatens the entire eastern seaboard.

Bermuda Tentacles was directed by Nick Lyon who also directed the films, Rise of the Zombie, Hercules Reborn and Zombie Apocalypse and was written by Geoff Meed who also wrote The Asylum films Hold Your Breath, 6 Guns, I Am Omega and Universal Soldiers.

Geoff shared some insightful information about writing the screenplay. “Bermuda Tentacles was conceived all the way back in 2009.  I was working on the script while filming “6 Guns” – another movie for The Asylum.  Many changes kept being made, at one point even making the character of Trip Oliver gay!  At another point, there was the possibility of rewriting the entire script with exception to the first 25 pages.  In the end, the film ended up being pretty close to the original concept.” Thank you Geoff!

Starring is Trevor Donovan from 90210, Linda Hamilton who we all know from The Terminator, platinum recording artist Mya, John Savage from many classic films including The Deer Hunter and finally the always entertaining Jamie Kennedy.

The movie originally aired on the SYFY channel in April 2014 and is due to be released on DVD next week.
