When a top-secret laboratory is unexpectedly breached, thousands of rampaging raptors are unleashed on Los Angeles! A black-ops unit is mobilized to contain the creatures before they cause city-wide chaos. Simultaneously, a truckload of raptors is rerouted to a nearby prison. Upon their escape, these ferocious flesh-eaters are beyond containment. This is Jurassic judgment night for smoking hot sorority girls, sinister scientists, muscle-bound military and doomed death-row inmates! It’s about to get bloody in Jurassic City!

Sean Cain worked hard to write a structured, entertaining script that would include city demolishing killer raptors, beautiful girls, and a group of bad asses to fight the raptors. He also directed the film and it was worth all the blood, sweat, and tears as the DVD for his Jurassic City is available on February 3, 2015.  http://amzn.com/B00PV09C08

Sean is a top film editor and has edited nearly fifty films, but he also has produced and directed his own films including, Breath of Hate, Silent Night Zombie Night, and Naked Beneath the Water.  For Jurassic City he did not have all the responsibilities and obligations that came with being a producer and he could focus on directing.
“I’ve been very fortunate, for the past couple of years, to work with producer Anthony Fankhauser on a number of projects. Until recently it was mostly as an editor, but when we did Jurassic Attack aka Rise of the Dinosaurs he trusted me to helm the pickup scenes with Corin Nemec and Vernon Wells plus some of the other stuff with the main bad guy running around. That directly led to directing Jurassic City. I had originally pitched him the idea that it would be like Attack the Block meets The Raid – Redemption. A bunch of “ghetto kids” who have to fight dinosaurs who’ve been killing the denizens in their building. Cut to six months later: They liked my idea, but want to have it starring a bunch of sorority girls and set it in a prison. I get to write and direct. I thought about it for five seconds…hell yes!

So, the nice thing on Jurassic City is that I’ve known and worked with Fankhauser for quite a while and trust him completely. I wrote the script, which he had me change a few things for financial reasons and other than that he let me do what I want, cast who I wanted to cast and just make the movie I wanted to make.
To make a long story longer, it was great having someone else producer. I didn’t have to worry about all the small stuff. It was my job to only deal with the creative aspects of the movie. I loved it!” Cain shared.

How about working with the remarkable Visual Effects team of Joseph Lawson and Paul Knott? “Fankhauser’s background is that he started with The Asylum, which I can only assume is where he first met Joe. So, he was responsible for bringing the FX team to the project. Working with them is always an easy process. Joe is a great guy who’s enthusiastic about the process and tries to be as accommodating as possible. I’ve since worked with him on a few things and would highly recommend him.
As Jurassic City is about to come out I’ve seen quite a number of assholes bagging on the CGI work. They always compare it to a much bigger budgeted film, which in our case would be Jurassic Park/World. I always have to shake my head and wonder if these people are just dense or do they not get the fact that our film’s budget might be what the catering costs on Jurassic Park/World. I’ve seen some really awful FX on these SyFy type movies and our dinosaurs look really good in comparison. As much as I would love to have animatronic dinosaurs on my film that stuff is really expensive. Some of the shots are better than others in Jurassic City, but the ones that shine really shine in my opinion.”
