When a lifeguard catches wind of a dangerous anomaly off the coast of San Diego, she commissions a band of unlikely heroes to assist her on a suicide mission to save the west coast from total destruction.Surprisingly fun, with a solid cast and a pretty clever finale (man is it a welcome surprise not to see the same exact plan to dispose of the shark that seems to be in every one of these movies).

Sure, the CGI is terrible, but Atomic Sharks more than makes up for that with a great sense of humor. This is never more evident than in a scene where a suicidal woman is attempting to light dynamite with a lighter while holding down another woman, who blows out the flame every time she lights up. Good stuff.
