At a New York City comedy club, a manager clings to sanity while dealing with his lesbian ex-wife, a staff of colorful characters, and comedians who guest star and perform on each episode.

Stand-Up Neurotica was created by Writer, Director, and Producer Daniel Seth Lubiner.

After working in the entertainment industry since 1996, he conceived the concept and began writing Stand-Up Neurotica. During the summer of 2015, using money he raised with crowdfunding, he produced and directed Stand-Up Neurotica as an independently made sitcom pilot.  In addition to his producing his own show, Lubiner also is an Art Teacher of emotionally challenged, blind and visually impaired students in the Bronx.

About the show:

Stand-up Neurotica is the perfect cross between Cheers, Friends and Seinfeld. It combines aspects of stand-up comedy with the classic sitcom. However, Stand-up Neurotica is unlike any TV series to date. It is more fast-paced and edgy, complete with vulgarity, sex, and all that other fun stuff. Also, along with performing short sets, the comedians themselves become characters in the show and catalysts in the ever-changing plots.

The action revolves around, Seth a high-strung manager of a comedy club in New York City. He is also nursing a broken heart for his ex-wife. Julia is the club owner who left Seth after falling in love with a woman during a threesome they had. Now Seth must work with her and the other employees of a comedy club. The employees of the bar each have eccentricities of their own. Yet they manage to remain close friends. Other characters will include the club’s audience members, family members and passing relationships. Stand-Up Neurotica will prove to be the most original and sexy comedy to come along in a long time.
