Released today is “500 MPH Storm” This is Daniel Lusko’s first disaster film as he mostly has directed documentaries and it is writer Hank Woon Jr.’s first produced screenplay for The Asylum. The cast includes Casper Van Dien who starred in Fred Olen Ray’s “Turbulent Skies” and beloved Sarah Lieving who starred in the classics “Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus” and “Super Shark” along with many other B movies.
“When an energy experiment goes haywire, a rash of massive hurricanes rips across North America. A high school science teacher must get his family to safety before the hurricanes merge, creating a “hypercane” with the power to wipe the US off the map.”
