The horror genre remains one of my favorite genres and frankly its become a bit old hat. Often we have to go to foreign films or low budget horror to find filmmakers who are trying to do anything original. Wolfcop which is in the running at CineCoup to win $1million to make their movie is not only low budget its absolutely genius.

All indie filmmakers should make note of how to put together a great marketing campaign. Start with a great concept that is original and borderline insane, you know like a Cop that is a Werewolf. Then add a great poster, and a fantastic promo reel and go to town looking for funding.

I for one think Wolfcop is gold and would pay to see it. Checkout the trailer and poster below and decide for yourself. Genius? Or b-movie garbage?
