An A-list cast has assembled for this ultimate B-movie, with a first foray into the acting game for Lady Gaga generating some excitement. Expect Machete to receive plenty of female attention, from the returning Jessica Alba, as well as newcomers Amber Heard, Alexa Vega (Spy Kids) and Sofia Vergara, who sports an eye-catching bra.

Mel Gibson is the arch-villain Voz, with a host of notable minions at his disposal, from Cuba Gooding Jr to Antonio Banderas. Finally, there is a great gag, which sees one Carlos Estevez as the US President. That’ll be the day!

A new trailer has been released for this star studded extravaganza of gore and fun and it looks to be very much in the same vein as the original. October 11th is the US release date with a UK date yet to be announced. Looks like it should give the audience exactly what they want.
