My mother recommended this movie to me, saying that I would love it (that is because she was a huge fan of it when she was a kid). Considering the fact that I love Don Knotts (he is hysterical on The Andy Griffith Show), I had high hopes for The Incredible Mr. Limpet. And I was not disappointed in any possible way, shape, or form. The Incredible Mr. Limpet is hysterical, witty, cute, and pm the whole, incredible! In this movie, a man named Henry Limpet is unable to join the navy, and through a strange twist of fate, he turns into a fish. And he proves to be a big asset to the U.S. Navy. In my point of view, this is the only World War II story that they never talk about. Well anyway, I loved this movie, I thought that it was very funny and cute, especially the animated sequences. The Navy doesn’t need a lot of those high-tech weapons to use against submarines, because they’ve got Henry Limpet! Winning World War II has never been this funny! Who could imagine? The Germans being outsmarted by a…fish?! Yes I just said that, they are getting outsmarted by a fish!
The animation in this movie is beautiful, and I love how they combine it with a few of the live-action sequences in this movie. I also believe that this is one of those movies that you will just want to watch over and over and over and over again, because once you watch it, you will think that it is a masterpiece, and it is a masterpiece, it is a great comedy movie with the very hysterical Don Knotts. This is a fun movie for the entire family, it is a movie that you will never forget once you watch it. Well that is the same with me, no matter how old I get, I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, forget this movie as long as I live. If Don Knotts was still alive today, I would thank him a whole lot for entertaining me with this charming, witty, and hysterical live-action/animated comedy movie! This movie gets a ten out of ten from me for being a movie that will stay in my memory for as long as I live.
Well all in all, this is a movie that I so glad that I took the time to watch, because I think that it just might has become a favorite of mine. No wait, it is a favorite of mine! Don Knotts was a genius when it came to comedy, I have seen quite a few of his comedy roles, and all of them have been at least funny. But The Incredible Mr. Limpet is in a class by itself, it is on a level of comedy all by itself, and it is in a movie class by itself. So anyway, this movie is one of those movies that you will want to watch over and over again. The Incredible Mr. Limpet is a great comedy for the entire family, don’t miss out on all of the fun! When I say that this movie is a whole lot of fun, I mean that it is a whole lot of fun. You will see what I mean by that when you watch this movie. In short, this movie is hysterical, when you watch it, you will absolutely love it!
