Sony Pictures has released the trailer for “Total Recall,” the remake of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s classic sci-fi film. It just might make you forget about that version though. This one stars Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, John Cho and Bill Nighy.

The film is based on the novelette called “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” by Phillip K. Dick and looks at a future where memories can be implanted in your head. You can remember your life as a spy or a ballerina or whatever you like if you visit Rekall, a company who can make you think your life was full.

When one man (Farrell) goes in for a memory makeover, his life is turned upside down and he has to go on the run. The film will hit theaters on August 3, 2012. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think.
