Jamie Bernadette has been in many B Movies and her newest film “The 6th Friend” is currently in production and due out in 2014. Not only does Jamie star in the film, she also is the writer and producer. “The 6th Friend” will be directed by Letia Miller.
“On the night of a booze-and-pot-drenched college graduation party, the stoner of the pack of six best friends orders in something special from her dealer, who sticks around, joins the party, and zeroes in for a score. Before the night is over, a bloody vengeance will be wreaked upon him, and, five years later, the girls gather once again and endure a night of far more horror and bloodshed that is inflicted upon them this time.”
Jamie has been in The Asylum’s “MILF” and “Celebrity Sex Tape” and stars in numerous horror films including “Axeman at Cutter’s Creek” and “The Bunnyman Massacre.” She’s been writing stories since a very young age and when she wrote “The 6th Friend” she completely immersed herself into the story and characters.
Jamie shared with B Movie Nation “The film ‘The Descent’ inspired me to write a script with an all-female principal cast, who are strong girls and who look out for each other. The writing process was very exciting. I just let the story lead me rather than me lead the story. I like to write in the moment and see where things go. The script definitely took some turns that I didn’t see coming originally. I’ve always loved to write. It’s quite an adventure.”
